SITE_REVIEWIn a surprising turn of events, the first American trip-hop compilation out of the gate turns out to be one of the best. Though it lacks some of the big hitters in the style like Massive Attack and Tricky, the tracks included are some of the best -- Skylab's "Seashell," the Chemical Brothers' "My Mercury Mouth," Portishead's remix of Paul Weller's "Wildwood," Tranquility Bass' "They Came in Peace" and others by Single Cell Orchestra, Lemon Interrupt (aka Underworld) and Saint Etienne. Irrespective of label, country or commercial inclination, Moonshine Records compiled an excellent album. ~ John Bush, All Music Guide
